*Update 09th March 2023*
We will be starting the Spring boosters in the near future. As before, people will be prioritised according to age and risk, and the NHS will contact you when it is your turn for your booster.
As a precautionary measure, JCVI advises that an extra booster vaccine dose in spring 2023 should be offered to:
- adults aged 75 years and over
- residents in a care home for older adults
- individuals aged 5 years and over who are immunosuppressed, as defined in tables 3 or 4 in the COVID-19 chapter of the Green Book

This practice is supporting vital coronavirus (COVID-19) planning and research by sharing your data with NHS Digital. For more information about this see the General Practice Transparency Notice for GPES Data for Pandemic Planning and Research (COVID-19).
The practice will make arrangements for an interpreter (British sign language or translation services) to join your GP/Nurse consultation. Please advise reception when booking your appointment if an interpreter is required as these arrangements will need to be made in advance of your appointment.
We now have a range of additional services and healthcare professionals attached to our practice. For certain conditions we are able to offer you an appointment with a more appropriate professional in the practice team, or even somewhere else, which can often be quicker and you may not need to see or speak to a Doctor in the first instance.
Please click on the link for a breakdown of what we offer : Additional services
Please do not be offended when you are asked what the problem is when you ring to book an appointment. This is called Care Navigation and it is about helping you get the service you need. Through specialist training our reception team can help patients by identifying the most appropriate place for their care.
Receptionists will never offer clinical advice or triage and it will always be your choice, these are additional services only and an appointment will always be made with a GP if that is your preference.
Our patients can now book GP appointments on a Saturday from 8am until 5pm and Sunday 8am until 12 noon. You will be seen at Windsor House Surgery. Please ring the surgery as usual during these times and you will be automatically transferred to Windsor House Surgery.
Patients can also book late evening appointments Monday to Friday 6pm - 8pm. Again, you will be seen at Windsor House Surgery. These need to be booked in advance through our surgery.
The surgery will be closed for staff training on the following dates from 12 midday , if you have a medical emergency that will not wait until the surgery reopens please call 111 which is a free phone number from your mobile or landline.
